Did you happen to witness any NASCAR racing yesterday? Wow, WOW, WOWSERS! The speed, the moves, the crashes.

There are just so many topics to talk about around the water cooler on Monday morning, are there not?

Today’s topic is: Let’s Talk About Jesus More

Oh, yes … the question:

Did you ever walk away from a conversation feeling down, dry, discouraged, and despondent because the topic of dialogue was SO depressing?

I HAVE AN IDEA!

🎤 Let’s talk about Jesus, the King of kings is He. The Lord of lords supreme, throughout eternity. The great I am, the Way, the Truth, the Light, the Door. Let’s talk about Jesus more and more.

Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.

Psalm 105:1,2

When we speak His Name and talk about HIM … it’s amazing how we just wanna …

🎤 More and more, I want to magnify His Name. More and more, I want to spread abroad His fame. More and more, make my life a brighter flame. Melt my heart, precious Lord, more and more.

🎤 LET’S TALK ABOUT JESUS!

When HE is the topic of the conversation: moods switch up.

The ambience, the attitude, and the atmosphere become lighter and brighter.

It’s kind of like that chorus:

♫ In the presence of Jehovah, God Almighty, Prince of peace. Troubles vanish, hearts are mended, in the presence of the King.

What if we talked about Jesus … more and more?

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:23-25

If there were EVER a time we NEED to encourage one another … TODAY is that day!

We can BLESS those we meet TODAY with talk about Jesus!

We will ENCOURAGE those we meet TODAY with conversation about Jesus!

We should LIFT those we meet TODAY while talking about Jesus!

Let’s talk about Jesus more and more!

Mighty God, we can think of no topic more beautiful than Your Son Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. Help us to talk about Jesus more and more. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we pray. Amen
