In Romans 15:13 we have the first 3 weeks of Advent summed up in one verse: Hope, Peace, Joy.We cannot have one without the other…
In Hebrew culture 3 is a number of completeness…
“a three-fold cord is not easily broken”
A rope that is made with 3 strands is strong.Usually we look at the cord of faith, hope and love or the Father, Son & Holy Spirit
But today, let us be thankful for the strong rope of hope, peace and joy – which is available to us through the greatest gift ever given – Jesus Christ our Lord.Hope, Peace & Joy – what beautiful gifts His presence makes in our life. Rejoice, with exceeding great joy.

My Deliverer (part 6)

The help wanted ad read: Wanted: A delivery person. Must be able to … deliver.
I signed on. In the course of my days here below I have delivered personal hygiene and home cleaning products, corrugated boxes, home heating fuel oil, newspapers, pizza, bread, Poland Spring water and liquid propane. A delivery person … delivers.
When Mary delivered baby Jesus, she delivered a Deliverer. And HE delivers the goods.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32
Has the Deliverer delivered something YOU needed? YEAH! Let’s go THERE!
WHAT has He delivered TO you?
Oh, we will get to what he has delivered us FROM but let’s talk about what he has delivered TO us.
Grace. Mercy. Peace. Love. Life. Contentment. Joy. Salvation. Hope. Healing. Encouragement. Eternal life.
