Lit & Light

the tree looks pretty all lit
it’s time for the family to sit
where they’ll readily admit
our God reigns

the tree is fair and bright
fully festive and light
though life can be a fight
our God still reigns

oh yes, the tree’s a sight
throughout the darkest night
it’s gonna be all right
our God forever reigns
