Where can we go when we are overwhelmed with struggles?
In Psalm 62:1 David said, “I am at rest in God alone.” Then, in verse 5 he tells his soul to rest in God alone. When we can’t figure out what to do, we can rest in God. When life is scary, we can rest in God. When we can’t sleep, we can rest in God. When friends walk away, we can rest in God. When the doctor’s diagnosis is discouraging, we can rest in God. When we lose our best friend to cancer, we can rest in God. God offers rest for our soul, and that’s where we need it most! So, go ahead, lean in and rest in God.
