When you’re having a bad day, who cares?

Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

A wonderful old hymn asks, “Does Jesus care when my heart is pained too deeply for mirth or song, as the burdens press, and the cares distress, and the way grows weary and long?” Then the song answers, “Oh, yes, He cares, I know He cares, His heart is touched with my grief; When the days are weary, the long nights dreary, I know my Savior cares.”

My friend, take your burdens to Jesus in prayer, He is listening, and He does care.
