How should we handle struggles and disappointments?
2 Corinthians 1:3 says that God is the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. God owns comfort, and He offers it freely to those who pray and ask for it. Sometimes we are comforted through time in prayer, when we become aware of His care. God also offers comfort in the Bible. Verses like “I will never leave you or forsake you” or, “I am with you always” reassure us that with Christ in our life, we are never going through hard times alone. Life is full of struggles and disappointments, but when we concentrate on God’s loving care, He will carry us through the tough times. ~Linda Handzel
