Hope, Peace, Joy

Advent: Week 3 – Day 20 – JOY!
In Romans 15:13 we have the first 3 weeks of Advent summed up in one verse: Hope, Peace, Joy.

We cannot have one without the other…
In Hebrew culture 3 is a number of completeness…
“a three-fold cord is not easily broken”
A rope that is made with 3 strands is strong.

Usually we look at the cord of faith, hope and love or the Father, Son & Holy Spirit
But today, let us be thankful for the strong rope of hope, peace and joy – which is available to us through the greatest gift ever given – Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hope, Peace & Joy – what beautiful gifts His presence makes in our life. Rejoice, with exceeding great joy.
