I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
Not worth comparing —
But Paul… we MUST place the two side by side to gain perspective here.
Present suffering VERSUS future glory! Oh, my!
Temporary sorrow/Eternal bliss
Passing pain/Never ending paradise
Brief agony/Longevity with Him
Short-term sorrow/Long term empyrean
Interim heartache/Lengthy joy
Thumbnail grief/Expansive wonderment
Present suffering/Future glory
Dear one:
🎶 It will be worth it all when we see Jesus.
🎶 Life’s trials will seem so small, when we see Christ.
🎶 One glimpse of His dear face, all sorrows will erase.
🎶 So bravely run the race till we see Christ.
