Oh my, one of the many Bible promises often quoted but rarely obeyed and followed.
TODAY, strike that! THIS VERY HOUR… we MUST:
humble ourselves
earnestly pray
seek His face
turn from our sinful way
He promised He’d hear
heal and forgive
turn back, O backslider
that you might live
RETURN TO THE LORD was a major message of both the major and minor prophets of God in Old Testament times. It is the message we MUST hear and MUST heed— this VERY HOUR:
O Father, we have sinned. We have turned away. We have left following you and we are miserable. Hear our cry. Forgive our backslidings. Heal our hearts. Heal our homes. Heal Your church. Heal this land and heal the nations, we humbly plead. In Jesus mighty name. Amen
