5 Minutes of Hope

Sharing the HOPE and encouragement we have in God.

15 weeks ago, after hearing this familiar phrase over and over again:

If you want to go fast, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

It seemed as though God was saying to me: “Doug, you’re done going it all alone.”

I felt strongly impressed of the Lord to find six men of God to hold me accountable. Didn’t need seven. Jesus can have my sabbath.

So we chose six. To pray for me. To watch over me. To be mentored by and to mentor.

Just the other day, I felt the need for a seventh man. For completion. God impressed upon my heart to ask my neighbor Bill to be that man. A precious brother I believe to be Jesus with skin on.

He said yes.

Well, interestingly enough, the Bible says the first shall be last and the last shall be first.

Therefore, please welcome to our group— man of God number seven.

Bill’s day is Sunday. (No, not Billy Sunday)

Bill, Sunday

Al, Monday

John, Tuesday

Steve, Wednesday

Brian, Thursday

David, Friday

Scot, Saturday

Man of God, Woman of God:

HEAR ME WELL 👉 STOP GOING SOLO!

You WILL sink.

Pray about your righteous posse.

Ask God to reveal your chosen seven.

Yes, one for every day of the week.

cease hiding

begin abiding

cease striving

let’s do this together

Good for you as our Lord has led. Be abiding and resting in Jesus. It is always good to have Godly confidants. Trust is in Him. We are going to The Other Side. Numbers 6.24-26 Thank you. Looking unto Jesus.
