
It is a rare occasion indeed when I shed a tear in public. I’m just that way. But oh, the other day.
We don’t frequent the cinema all that often but something enigmatic and uncanny occurred recently while viewing the story of the life of George Whitefield. As the narrative of his unpretentious life and meager ministry unfolded, it undid me. Thrice.
Goose bumps and chills ran the length of my body as I beheld what God did in and through this servant of Christ.
Was he perfect? Far from it.
Was he free from error? Is any man?
Did he impact, challenge and change his world? Like few others.

The Great Awakening, that phenomenon which transpired in the 18th century transformed, colonies, churches and even some clergymen.
Can and will God DO IT AGAIN?



I walked out of the auditorium of that theater and just KNEW I had to turn down my plate, fast and pray for a few days and seek the face of God.
