Hello friend and welcome to “Love Above the Sheets” Episode 7
Today’s topic is: “Fighting Fairly”
In all of our years of marriage I can honestly say that my wife and I have never had ONE argument.
We’ve had several but not just one.
Speaking of funny… we had been married, I don’t know, maybe five years. I have no idea what we were arguing about but I went to bed… without resolving a divisive issue: BAD MOVE on my part. As I’m laying there fuming, not knowing what to say or how to say it… my wife crawls up onto the foot of the bed and starts jumping up and down as if it were a trampoline. I looked at her and shouted, “Woman, are you crazy?”
“We gotta talk!” she said emphatically.
Well, she got my attention and we talked it out. Thank God, we learned early on to “talk out” our differences early on.
Friend, you and your spouse are two different people from two different upbringings and experiences. There’s no way on God’s green earth you’re going to agree on everything. There will be disagreements.
However… you should have a few ground rules on how to discuss your differences.
She goes on to list several bad habits couples make in their marriage and then offers the fix.
Let’s see how we score, shall we?

Bad habit number 7. Oh, would you look at the time? We are going to have to save the rest for next week.
