We OFTEN hear John 8:32 being quoted, dropped, mentioned, noted, referenced, referred to and touched upon… BUT… RARELY do we hear about the verse preceding it.
It’s what’s known as the •IF and THEN principle:
IF… you hold to my teaching…
THEN… you will know the truth…
We ARE NOT FREE to do as we please! We are freed from our old sinful ways and freed to serve God and others!
Freedom, Freedom, FREEDOM!
Free to serve God.
Free to worship.
Free to serve others.
Mighty God, we thank you that we’ve been set free from our sins and our old life. Help us to use this freedom to serve you and others. Help us to trust you. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
