Isaiah 53:3, NKJV says that Jesus was a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief. When we are grieving, it helps to talk to someone who understands that kind of pain. They might not have suffered exactly the same kind of loss, but there is a certain camaraderie, and knowing that they have walked through the dark hills of grief that you are now experiencing.
Jesus understands the crushing pain and the overwhelming waves of sorrow that can flood your soul, and He wants you to tell Him all about them.
When you are pouring your heart out to God, don’t worry about saying exact words or perfect sentences. Instead, tell Him exactly what you are thinking, and He will know what you mean.
