If you were to set me down at a royal banquet table — you know — the kind that sports five forks on one side of the plate and three spoons on the other — I’d be a mite nervous and not a little uncomfortable and out of place. You see, one utensil, if needed, is plenty. Why would a country boy need such fancy hardware? I mean, silverware.
The only thing to make the scene more uncomfortable would be a royal subject sitting down beside me, Sir? Your High Ness? Your Majesty? What if they were not at all approachable?
