Linger Longer

I wanna linger a little longer

in the lap of my loving Lord.

Gonna quiet my restless spirit

to behold the beauty in His Word.

I love to hear His tender voice

as I seek His lovely face.

Father, may I linger longer,

that I might faithfully run this race.
