My Deliverer (part 4)

Hey, Doug Dial here with one minute of hope.

Early on in our marriage it became glaringly apparent that we had too much month left over at the end of the money. The times being what they were I picked up a part-time job delivering early morning newspapers … early in the morning. Without naming the names of all the papers I tossed into the customers driveway, let me just deliver this note: most of the news I delivered was … NOT good news.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.

Isaiah 61:1

Christ delivered the good news and then … He delivered those to whom He delivered the good news.

He is: MY DELIVERER!
