He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us,

Now then, we could focus our attention on the deliverance. We could look at the one who received deliverance.
Or, we can … turn our eyes upon Jesus, look full into His wonderful face …
