The Heart of the Matter

White knuckles. Pink hands.

Letting go: it’s what love demands.

Clinging tightly, stressing and stressed;

letting go: the life is blessed.

Open hands raised to the sky.

Lord, I’m yours: You are mine.

Hallelujah! He set me free!

I let go; He forever holds me!
