The safest place to put our trust is in the Lord Himself.
Jeremiah 17:7 says, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.” When we put our trust in the Lord, we are leaning on the most dependable place there is. God is our stable place because He is incapable of failing. Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever. He is able to see us through the good, the bad and the ugly. He has promised to never leave us or forsake us. We don’t have any abilities of our own, but we have everything through Him! “On Christ, the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand!”
