Hello friend and welcome to 5 Minutes of Hope.

Today’s topic is: Being Filled with Hope and Sharing it with Others.

I went to the meeting in need of prayer, but when I arrived another was there, who went to the meeting in need of prayer. So I prayed for my brother who came for prayer, and in praying for HIM, God met me right there. In caring for HIM, God met me right there. In putting others before me, God met me RIGHT THERE!

Mark Swank, Special Projects and Promotion Coordinator for the Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee, was our guest speaker at Abundant Life Church of God in Freehold, New Jersey last Sunday. He did a masterful job at sharing and revealing God’s heart for missions. He took us back to the garden where God‘s question was, “Adam, where are you?“ And God is STILL seeking His children to this very day.

On September 11, 2001, terror rained down from the skies. From that day until this multitudes of Americans hate every Muslim in every corner of the world.

BUT … God loves them. Every one of them.

It just so happens God is doing a marvelous work among Muslims and in MANY parts of our world.

How’s that? You don’t particularly like foreigners?

Where did YOU go to Sunday school?

Don’t you remember, “Jesus loves the little children. All … the children of the world. Red and yellow black and white, they are precious in his sight Jesus loves the little children of the world.”

Does He stop loving them when they turn 7? 10? Full grown adult?

Gay, straight, transgender, tattooed, body pierced, those who identify as kitty cats.

Hello somebody!

Here’s a question for you … why do so many church going people get on social media and poke fun at those who are … different? Maybe they ARE living in sin but they don’t need our finger in their face and us laughing at them.

They need a love and a hope that only Jesus can bring them.

Honestly, Sir. Seriously ma’am … let’s share the hope!

It’s not our job to fix them, change them, or save them.

JESUS is the Savior!

JESUS is the healer!

JESUS is the deliverer!

JESUS is what people need to see in us.

People don’t need to be TOLD they are wrong.

People need to be SHOWED they are loved.

Mighty God, You loved us and saved us from our sin. Help us love as You loved. In the matchless Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we pray. Amen
