Fan the Flame

Far, far from the fold;

heart, callous and cold.

A tale too often told,

a love for God grown cold.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Father, fan the flame.
Renew me once again.
Remove my guilt and shame;
as I call upon your Name.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Re-ignite the fire within.

Take away my loathsome sin.

Father God, I know you can,

revive my heart, once again.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ā€œA bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out …ā€ Isaiah 42:3
