Up and Gone

Hey, Doug Dial here with 1 minute of hope.

RARE is the person who hasn’t seen death. From the young child weeping over its lifeless goldfish, to the sorrowful boy crying over his pet’s demise to the grieving who’s had to say goodbye to a loved one.

Mary marched to the tomb early that morning with every intention of anointing a dead and lifeless body.

IMAGINE the shock and exuberance when she found the tomb … EMPTY … for Christ was … UP AND GONE!

Death could not keep Him!

The grave could not contain Him!

Dear one, death DOES NOT have the final say.

And because HE lives … we have HOPE!

May our message and our very lives PROCLAIM: Jesus Christ crucified, risen, and coming again.

Write it on this ole boy’s tombstone: UP AND GONE!

  1. Amen, we are just pilgrims and strangers in this world passing through.
