There’s a calm before the storm

And a storm before the calm.

This truth can’t be denied.

Christ promised us His presence

In pastures green,

Or when severely tried.

There is never need to fear.

He promised us He’s always here.

Where Christ is, His peace is there.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
