God’s Compassion

by Linda Handzel

Did you know that God’s compassion does not grow old?

Lamentations 3:23 & 24 says “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning;”

Because God never changes, His compassion doesn’t wear out like a pair of socks or an old car. It doesn’t get stale like yesterday’s donut. Because He is all-powerful and all-knowing, He provides exactly what we need today-new and ready to help us face what is ahead. We can go forward into the future knowing that God is ahead of us, getting everything ready for our arrival, and He is doing it with new compassion.
