A stone, cold heart a cold day brings;
Lord, once again, touch my heart strings.
I lay down my burdened soul;
one more time, Lord, make me whole.
Take away the deep, dark pain;
may I sing of your divine love again.
I confess my sin, my need of you;
heal and forgive as only you can do.
