Are you running away from God? Do you think He has given up on you?
In Mark chapter 15 Jesus told the parable of a man whose son had taken his portion of the family inheritance and left to spend it all in the city. Stories of his riotous living made it back to dad, but he never gave up hope that the boy would come home. When a famine came, the boy ran out of money. He finally came to his senses and decided to go home. Dad had been watching for him every day, and when he saw his boy coming, he ran to meet him, offering forgiveness. My friend, just like that father, God is watching for you, and He does want you back. Turn your heart toward Him, and He will meet you there.
