Freed from enslavement to serve the One who freed me from slavery.
He sets the captive free.
No longer am I a slave.
He set this captive free:
from death, hell, sin, and the grave!
No longer captive — captivated.
No longer fallen — fascinated.
No longer weary — rejuvenated.
No longer a prisoner — I’ve been set free.
Freed from enslavement to serve the One who freed me from slavery.
“O Lord, truly I am your servant … you have freed me from my chains.” Psalm 116:16
