1 Minute of Hope

Hey, Doug Dial here with One Minute of Hope.
If an individual finds themselves lost and wandering in the wilderness, as long as they have a compass in their pocket, they are still lost and wandering. A compass hidden is no compass at all.
Friend, from the day we are born until the day we breathe our last, we need a compass. Someone or something to lead us, guide us and direct us to give us hope and help along life‘s journey.
Here’s the good news: The Word of God is that compass. It is lamp to our feet; it shows us where we are. And a light to our path; it shows us where we need to go.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Psalm 119:105

But just like the compass in the pocket, if the Word of God is hidden on the shelf, we won’t find the comfort, direction and help that we need.
Friend, let me encourage you today to open your Bible and allow the Lord to speak to your heart.
Jesus is our ONLY hope!
