Find the largest big old barn you can find. Shut off all the lights. Board up all the windows. Seal up all the doorways. Fill in every crack that might allow a ray or two of sunshine to sneak in. Visit this dark barn on the darkest night and pump in even more darkness. Then, light a match.
The darkness WILL NOT overcome the light. Never. NEVER!
Precious LORD, there is NO darkness in You so may there be no darkness in me. Expose it and root it out, I pray. Amen

She was accomplishing her daily tasks;

Challenges come to me daily.
They knock upon my door.
I’ll send faith to answer;

Friend, changing circumstances can’t change an unchanging God.
Changing situations can’t change an unchanging God!
In your dark hour, in your midnight hour, in your bleak and difficult and lonely time … let the praises of God rise and watch what He does. You can’t always know how He will do it or when He do it, but God will show up in that jail house and rock your world!
