Back woods — they called me.
However, a recent career switch has me driving the city roads of The Big Apple. You heard it right — NEW YORK, NEW YORK. Oh, MY!
The other day this chauffeur picked up a client and the destination was JFK Airport. From the suburbs in Jersey onto some pretty busy thoroughfares. One of them being the infamous Belt Parkway.
Friend, I prayed ALL THE WAY there.
Did I mention I’ve only driven there once before? It was nighttime. Rain and fog were in the air. Oh, my!
Well, we got there in one piece, safe and sound. I dropped off my client and began the return ride. Gratitude welled up in my heart as tears flooded my eyes at the goodness of God.

I felt
praying for His leading
leaning heavy on Him
He blessed me with His presence
again and again and again
after dropping off the client
my lids leaked out the tears
returning via the Belt Parkway
I reminisced of all the years
He’s led, and blessed, and watched over me
time and time again
no, I’ll never walk alone
for the Master holds my hand
Mighty God, You are so good! Thank You for keeping ALL Your promises and thank You for keeping me. Amen

We flip — we flop.
We’re in — we’re out.
We trust — we doubt.
We’re human and prone to hopelessness.
He’s God — He’s King
See here’s — the thing
He cannot — fail
He’ll always — prevail
He’s divine — overflowing with faithfulness
Dear one, things and people will falter and fail but JESUS NEVER FAILS. No matter what life brings our way today — our God is faithful and will do ALL He has promised in His Word.
JESUS NEVER FAILS!
Precious LORD, we are so thankful that You are EVER faithful. Amen

WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
Jesus already did what Jesus would do. He spread his arms wide, hung on the cross and showed the world how much He cared. ❤️❤️❤️
🎶 Jesus loves me this I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong. They are weak but He is strong. Yes. Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me, the Bible tells me so.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are the children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this Hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. I John 3:1-3 ❤️❤️❤️

🎶 Do I love Jesus? Does he know? Have I ever told Him so? Jesus loves to hear me say that I love Him every day. Yes, I love Jesus. ❤️❤️❤️ Yes, I love Jesus. ❤️❤️❤️ Yes, I love Jesus, in prayer, I tell Him so.
It’s high time to stop talking about God as if He’s some grandpa down at the church whom we go pay a visit once in a while. He’s right here … right now … and He’s IN LOVE with you and with me.
Let’s relate. Let’s communicate. Let’s live and love and experience a relationship with the God of the universe. Today. Right now!
