Have you ever felt like your gifts weren’t good enough for God to use?
You see preachers and singers standing in front of people and you see how God uses them in such great ways. Then you look at your own life and you feel like you have nothing that God could use.
But that is not true!
If there is anything I have learned in the later part of my life, it is that God can use anything — ANYTHING! — if we will just offer our gifts to Him.
I absolutely love these verses in the book of Exodus. God instructed Moses how to build the tabernacle. During that instruction, He told Moses that He had chosen a man and filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of crafts to make designs for and build the tabernacle. God said He would use him and another man and would also give them the ability to teach others the knowledge of their craft.
So, if God could use somebody who is skilled in craftsmanship, isn’t there hope for me?
Today, as I read these verses, I once again offered my life — and all of the gifts that God has given me — back to Him. I asked God to use EVERY gift He has given me for His glory.
Would you do the same?
You and I might be very surprised at how God can use our gifts, if we offer them up to Him!

Then Moses said to the people of Israel, “See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft.
