Who Cares?
When you’re having a bad day, who cares?

Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

A wonderful old hymn asks, “Does Jesus care when my heart is pained too deeply for mirth or song, as the burdens press, and the cares distress, and the way grows weary and long?” Then the song answers, “Oh, yes, He cares, I know He cares, His heart is touched with my grief; When the days are weary, the long nights dreary, I know my Savior cares.”

My friend, take your burdens to Jesus in prayer, He is listening, and He does care.

Divine Protection
Did you know that God is in the Divine protection business?

In Psalm 18:2 David called God his fortress and his deliverer. David knew that he could depend on God to protect him through all of life. If he was afraid, he reminded himself that God was going to take care of him. If he was discouraged, he knew that God was not going to let him down. We live in a world full of fear, doubt and discouragement. But, just like David, we can run to God and hide in His loving care, knowing that He will not let us down. He has said that He would never leave us or forsake us, and on that we can depend!

Held
Hey, Doug Dial here with 1 minute of hope.

Just a few short months after my second birthday my father‘s life was tragically taken in a military airplane crash. I’ve seen at least one picture of him with me in his arms, so I know that he held me … but I have no memory whatsoever of his warm embrace.

Hugs. Can we get enough?

Hugs. Can we give enough?

People from every possible walk of life, young, old, and in between … long to be held by those they love.

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:11

Dear one, KNOW Jesus Christ is holding you!

♫ … This is what it is to be loved

♫ … and to know that the promise was

♫ …when everything fell … we’d be held
