Methinks the precious church of the living God will find herself in the book of Psalms more and more as the day approaches.

As the battle rages, sing to the LORD!
As the enemy taunts us, praise Jesus!
As wars and rumors of wars surround us, lift high the banner of our God!
As conflicts arise, lift up our hands!
As satan spews out his hatred for the man child, worship the King of kings and the LORD of lords!
Worship, sing, praise, adore Him, lift Him up!

🎵 He said if I be lifted up from the earth I will draw all men unto me!

🎵 Lift Jesus higher, lift Jesus higher …

🎵 LORD we lift Your name on high, LORD we love to sing Your praises …

At MIDNIGHT, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God and the other prisoners were listening. SUDDENLY there was an earthquake …

🎵 God’s got an Army marching through the land, deliverance in their soul and healing in their hands. With everlasting joy and gladness in their hearts. God’s got an Army in the land.

🎵 Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the LORD … His truth is marching on!

🎵 For the captain of the host is Jesus, we’re following in his footsteps. No foe can stand against us in the fray.

Dear one the storm on the horizon will be fierce. But we need NOT fear, because we know the Word of our God and we know the God of the Word!

Recall to mind Christ’s response to the disciple’s questions in three of the Gospel accounts. They asked Him about the destruction of the temple, the signs of His coming, and the end of the age. His response on each occasion was “be careful that no one to deceive you.”

We MUST STAY in His Word and we MUST STAY in His presence!

As the prayers and the praises go UP, the glory and the victory comes DOWN. God has NEVER lost a battle!

We rest securely in HIM.

Precious LORD, the battle belongs to You and to You belongs the praise. You TRULY are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. We worship You. Amen
